Sheren Govinden - Consultant, KoVe Global

Sheren Govinden is best described as an ambitious, outgoing and result oriented law person. He is a law graduate from Middlesex University where he was awarded a First Class Honours in 2014. He subsequently studied for the Bar Professional Training Course at Cardiff University and was later called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn in July 2015. He is currently doing his pupillage in Mauritius and will be called to the Mauritian Bar in September 2016.

Sheren is an avid photographer and adventurer. He was involved with a Human Rights NGO in Cape Town working in townships and also participated in the Model African Union during which he represented South Africa and was awarded the Best Delegate.

His areas of practice includes civil disputes, employment, family disputes, media and telecommunications, company and commercial disputes, intellectual property, competition law and foreign investment. He has a deep interest in arbitration and he is currently affiliated with the Young International Council for Commercial Arbitration. His ultimate objective is to develop and promote the African Continent as the new hub for Arbitration.
